The villages of Tignes are part of the Espace Killy ski area, together with Val d'Isére.
Les Brévières (1550m), Les Boisses (1850m), Le Lavachet (2100m) and Val Claret (2100)
Tignes Glacier is open from the 1st October 2011 until 8th May 2012
Espace Killy opens from the 26th November 2011 to 1st May 2012.
TRANSFER TIMES:
Chambery Airport is the closest and takes about 2 hours.
Geneva Airport, Lyon Airport and Grenoble Airport take about 3 hours.
Bourg St Maurice Station SNCF/ Eurostar. The journey up the hill takes about 45 mins.
All these timings are based on good weather days and not on the busy Saturdays during the season.
