The resort of Meribel is situated between 1450m and 1700m. There is a separate satellite village Méribel-Mottaret sited higher at 1700-1800m.
The resorts of Meribel are part of the 3 valleé ski area, together with Courchevel, La Tania, St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.
Meribel is open from the 5th December 2009 to the 25th April 2010.
TRANSFER TIMES:
Chambery Airport is the closest and takes about 1.5 hours.
Geneva Airport, Lyon Airport and Grenoble Airport take about 2.5 hours.
All these timings are based on good weather days and not on the busy Saturdays during the season.
