La Plagne consists of 3 low altitude villages;Montchavin (1250m), Montalbert (1350m) and Les Coches (1450m).
There are also several high altitude resorts;Plagne 1800 (1800m), Plagne Bellecote (1930m), Plagne Centre (1970m), Belle Plagne, (2050m) and Plagne Villages/Soleil (2050m)
The resorts of La Plagne are part of the Paradiski ski area, together with Les Arcs, Peisey Vallandry and Villaroger.
La Plagne is open from the 13th December 2009 to the 26th April 2010.
TRANSFER TIMES:
Chambery Airport is the closest and takes about 2 hours.
Geneva Airport, Lyon Airport and Grenoble Airport take about 3 hours.
All these timings are based on good weather days and not on the busy Saturdays during the season.
